It seems the little Hermione is finally moving on from her Harry Potter sweet girl avatar to a stylish diva, first the cheesy haircut and now a new role in a young adult novel based movie ‘The Perks of Being a Wallflower’.
The British actress Emma Watson has signed up for her first post ‘Harry Potter’ film role.
Watson will be seen alongside Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief’s Logan Lerman. The movie is based on Stephen Chbosky‘s iconic young adult novel of the same name and deals with topics such as abortion, drug use, sex and homo sexuality.
Watson, who will start shooting in her summer break from Brown University, tweeted, “Hi all, just wanted to let you know that for once a story in the papers is true! I’m filming Perks of Being a Wallflower this summer. Can’t wait!”
