Trump admits he ‘didn’t listen to’ Fauci on US response to COVID-19

Former President Donald Trump had admitted that he ‘didn’t listen to’ Dr. Anthony Fauci about the US coronavirus response.

The former President of the United States has said that he “didn’t listen” to the nation’s leading infectious disease expert about the COVID-19 pandemic response.

During an interview on “The Truth with Lisa Boothe” podcast, former President Donald Trump spoke about his time working with Dr. Anthony Fauci, the US’s leading infectious-disease expert.

In the interview, Trump says, “I thought rather than firing him, you know, I listened to him, but I didn’t do what he said because frankly his record is not a good record.”

Trump went on to say that “Fauci’s been so wrong”, and claimed that Dr. Fauci “didn’t want to have China stopped from coming in. If we would’ve done that, we would’ve had hundreds of thousands of more deaths in our country.”
