On May 12, the actress and producer shared the first look of her highly anticipated TV show ELLE, which is set to be a prequel to the beloved Legally Blonde movies. The big reveal came via a social media post where Reese introduced Lexi Minetree as the new Elle Woods.
In her Instagram caption, Reese couldn’t hide her excitement, writing, “I’m so thrilled to introduce Lexi Minetree as Elle Woods. The new star of our TV show ELLE!” She went on to gush about Lexi stepping into Elle’s iconic pink shoes, saying, “She is stepping into these pink shoes with so much grace, ambition, and charm.” Reese, who originally brought the character to life on the big screen, seemed thrilled to see Lexi take on the role.
And here’s the big news – the ELLE prequel is set to premiere on Prime Video in the summer of 2026, produced by Reese’s production company, Hello Sunshine.
