Prince Harry praised for ‘sweet nod’ to Princess Diana following pregnancy news

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry confirmed their second pregnancy on Valentine’s Day.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle continue to receive criticisms from the public amid living their new lives in the United States. But, despite all the harsh comments, things have seemingly changed these days. The Sussex couple now enjoys all the praise and support from their fans and followers.

This all comes after they announced their second pregnancy on Valentine’s Day. Many individuals realized that the move appears to be a “sweet nod” to Princess Diana, according to the Daily Express.

The Prince and Princess of Wales announced their second pregnancy on the same holiday nearly four decades ago. On February 14, 1984, the then-future King and Queen Consort of the United Kingdom shared their good news before the public. Seven months later, they welcomed Prince Harry at St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington.

Following Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s announcement, royal fans applauded the Sussex couple, especially the royal-born Prince, for doing the same move. Some netizens even reportedly noted that the Duke still finds ways to include his mother in his life. The publication, then, recalled that the Duke of Sussex “has made no secret” in his aspirations to keep his mother’s memory alive.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may no longer have their own social media accounts but, they still found surprising ways to inform the public about their relationship milestones. People reported that they marked the days with a “stunning black-and-white photo, which was taken using an iPad.

Friend and long-time photographer Misan Harriman reportedly took the shot for them in their home. The photo features the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, smiling and barefoot. As the royal-born Prince “looks lovingly” at his wife, the former actress “cradles her baby bump” while resting in her husband’s lap.

The same publication revealed that she was wearing a flowing dress from Carolina Herrera. It was reportedly first made when she was pregnant with Archie Harrison.

Pregnancy after miscarriage

The Sussex couple’s announcement came months after they revealed their miscarriage last July. Meghan Markle wrote her personal piece in the New York Times titled The Losses We Share, and published it last November.

She recalled the details of what happened that day when they lost their supposed second child. She also uncovered how heartbroken she and Prince Harry were when they learned about the loss.
