Tiffany Bruno, 40, was taken into custody on Wednesday, Oct. 18, for allegations of arson connected to the fire that engulfed part of the old Scuttlebutt strip club, located on the I-10 Service Road in St. Tammany Parish. Authorities from the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office charged her with one count of simple arson.

According to the STPSO, Bruno, described as a homeless woman, had been residing in the Slidell region with another woman. The two were reportedly using an outbuilding of the now-closed pink gentlemen’s club to keep their possessions.

Bruno confessed to authorities that after a conflict with her female associate, she tried to set the latter’s belongings on fire on Sunday night, which inadvertently led to the building being engulfed in flames. If found guilty of simple arson, Bruno might face a prison term of up to 15 years.
