A poor dog who was found with all his fur missing has made an amazing transformation after being rescued.about:blank
The disheveled pooch’s owner, from Texas in the US, took to TikTok to share the before and after photos of the dog.
Nicknamed Dobby after the famous house elf in Harry Potter, the slideshow begins by showing how the pooch looked in the shelter just days after he was rescued.
Clearly saddened, he has no fur after what seems like suffering from a horrific skin disease.
His ears – which flop out like Dobby – look painfully crusted.
But after being adopted, the dog is completely transformed.
His hair has grown back and the joy at having a permanent home is clear to see as Dobby looks like he has a permanent smile on his face.
The video was posted by @my_dixy_wrecked as part of a viral TikTok challenge showing rescue dogs’ transformations.
It has since been seen more than 28,000 times and viewers were quick to praise the owner for adopting the pooch.
“Omg, thank you for giving him the life he deserves,” one wrote.
Another commented: “This video needs to be seen. This is how living things get treated before and after someone, even one person cares enough to give the poor boy a chance.”
A third added: “Wow, you changed his entire world. Thank you.”
While a fourth said: “I would die for Dobby.”
It comes after another stray dog who was seen wandering the streets with a swollen head after his collar had embedded into his skin made an amazing transformation.
The pooch was named Datou, meaning Big Head in Chinese, and also had a blood clot in his brain.
But, thankfully, he managed to make a full recovery.
Meanwhile, another stray pooch was filmed “crying tears of joy” after a kind stranger fed him on the street.
