Vanessa was feeding the stray dogs out on the street when she saw a terrified and malnourished puppy all by her lonesome. The mange-ridden pup cried out in fear not knowing what was going on in this world. She just wanted love. So at first contact, she rolled over and submitted to a blanket and second chance at life!Â
Vanessa got the puppy back to the facility for a bath and necessary care, and Sally seemed so thankful. The little dog was only about two months old and in such a bad way, and the chances of survival for puppies like this aren’t good. But they had a little warrior on their hands.
The better and better Sally started to feel, the more she broke out of her shell. And it was Elisabetta who would take her in as a foster. With nine dogs in total, Betta figured Sally would go back to the rescue center when healthy and ready.
But that plan unraveled, and she couldn’t let her go so easily. The woman decided to adopt Sally for good, and now the pup has a loving mom and the perfect forever home for the rest of her days!
