Recently, the director for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) spoke out about the emerging COVID-19 variants popping up around the country.
New strains of COVID-19 are emerging around the country, which has public health officials very concerned, as nation-wide cases are in decline.
The director of the CDC, Dr. Walensky, recently said at the White House COVID-19 Response Team Briefing that the new “variants are concerning, especially as we’re seeing signs of progress.”
The CDC director then continued to explain what people should stop doing right now to ensure not only their own safety but other people as well.
