The 14 year marriage between Shania Twain and Mutt Lange has come to an end. They got married in December 1993, six months after they had met. The reason for separation, unfortunately is a close friend and Shania’s long time assistant Mari Ann Thiebaud. The separation happened in May 2008 and has been finalized just now.
“I feel like in a way I’m starting over, with everything. I was in a very deep, dark slump, and needed to find a way to get myself out of it. I had to faorce myself back out into life, back out into experiencing things” Twain said.
