The ‘Girl Aloud’ sensation, whose parents spilt when she was just 14, says their divorce shattered my beliefs on marriage and romance.
The singer is in relationship with DJ Tom Crane for three years but is still unsure if he is her soulmate.
“I thought I’ve met ‘The One’ previously. But as you grow up, you get to know who is a good partner for you.” She said.
She explained, “Tommy could be my soulmate. I think time is a great test. I’ve learnt over the years not to think that straight away because you’re in the honeymoon period. I used to become infatuated with people, but it would end before the honeymoon period was over and I’d be left devastated. Now I’m a bit cynical when it comes to relationships and marriage, probably because of my own family history. When the time’s right I think we’ll know.”
