LADY Gaga has been spotted back on her feet after spending weeks confined to a wheelchair following hip surgery. The Poker Face singer underwent an operation on February 20 after being forced to cancel the remaining dates on her Born This Way Ball world tour due to an injury. She was diagnosed with a labral tear of the right hip, as well as synovitis, a severe inflammation of the joints.
However, Lady Gaga has now proved she is on the road to recovery after she was photographed walking around New York City in high-heeled shoes on Tuesday, as she headed to a yoga class. She was helped back into her Louis Vuitton wheelchair after the session. It was given to her by top fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld at her birthday bash last week.
While being left unable to walk Gaga has been busy working on a jazz album with Tony Bennett and reportedly planning a summer wedding to boyfriend Taylor Kinney. The star’s pal Lady Starlight recently said: “She’s told me he’s the one and you know that instantly when you see them together. “They were made for each other. At first I thought he was too hot to be cool but now I think he’s totally awesome.”
“From all I’ve heard, I don’t think I’m dropping a secret by saying they are ready to get hitched this year. “There’s a summer period when his shooting schedule will be clear and her concert and studio commitments will be minimal, so expect an announcement some time soon.” – Thesun
