She’s the proud owner of hourglass curves most women half her age would be envious of. And Carol Vorderman was evidently keen to show off her figure in all its glory as she arrived at the ITV studios in central London on Wednesday. The 52-year-old TV presenter well and truly strutted her stuff as she displayed her famous physique in an eye-wateringly tight yellow pencil dress after filming an episode of Loose Women. With not an inch to pinch in the form-fitting garment, the former Countdown star ensured her curves were the centre of attention thanks to the eye-catching colour of the dress, from The Pretty Dress Company.
The maths whizz made sure to elongate her legs with a pair of pointed nude heels, while toting a black canvas handbag on her shoulder. Carol’s choice of shoe was a somewhat brave choice given that she broke her nose while tripping down some stairs in a pair of stilettos last month. The star was taken to hospital by her boyfriend, ex-Red Arrows stunt pilot Graham Duff, where she had an operation to reset her nose, and then had to take time out from her busy career to recuperate from the accident.
Carol opted for smokey eyes, while keeping the rest of her make-up relatively natural, and wore her long brunette locks tumbling in shaggy waves around her shoulders as she smiled for the camera. The TV star seemed to be in high spirits as she entered the studios, grinning away as she proudly paraded her viable curves in her super-tight dress for all to see. Carol famously won the coveted ‘Rear of the Year’ prize in 2011, and it seems her love for dressing the part shows no signs of waning.
Talking about her love of tight-fitting clothes, the star freely admits she loves to wear things which show off her figure. She recently told Woman & Home magazine: ‘I like tight clothes. Baggy things annoy me. I can’t be doing with hanging things. Scarves annoy me too.’
