Pfizer & Moderna COVID-19 vaccine found to be 10 times less effective

A new study found Pfizer and Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccines are 10 times less effective when introduced to this COVID-19 strain.

A new study has shown that Pfizer and Moderna’s vaccine is 10 times less effective against a certain mutation.

According to the study, Moderna’s and Pfizer’s COVID-19 was found to be at least 10 times less effective against the COVID-19 variant that was first found in South Africa (B.1.351).

The researchers behind the study stated that the mutation that is causing the vaccine to be less effective is called E484K.

The researchers said that when the vaccines were put up against B.1.351 samples sourced from people infected with the virus, the antibody activity from the Moderna vaccine were 12.4 times less when compared to the main strain of COVID-19.

Pfizer’s vaccine antibody activity was found to be 10.3 times less than when it was introduced to the main strain of COVID-19.
