A self-styled Popeye has revealed the grotesque horror of his “stupidity” because he has lumps of hardened petroleum jelly and ‘dead muscle’ revealed from his bulging triceps.
Ex-solder Kirill Tereshin, 24, used injections to turn himself into a superman, but is now paying the price which may include losing the use of his arms – or worse.
The Covid-19 pandemic has delayed surgery to fully remove the dangerous implants from his triceps by almost a year.
He still faces more complex operations to extract the mess inside his biceps.
“I’m only 24, and my immune system is so far coping with this inflammation, but I really do not know what will happen next,” said the Russian.
“That is why I started the surgeries to get rid of this nightmare.”
He confessed: “I bulked up my arms when I was 20 due to my own stupidity.
“I did not think about the consequences.”
He was persuaded to “save his life” and remove the implants by famous Russian WAG Alana Mamaeva, 33, a leading campaigner for victims of botched plastic surgery, who is married to Russian football star Pavel Mamaev.
Surgeon Dmitry Melnikov who extracted the solidified Vaseline-like jelly warned Tereshin he could die if he failed to remove the implants.
“I am very lucky that there are doctors who took me on,” said a man nicknamed Bazooka in his homeland.
“The hardest surgery will be on my biceps…
“The nerve responsible for the arms’ sensitivity is inside.
“God forbid something happens to this nerve and I cannot move my arm.
“I really worry about this.
“I am very afraid….
“I should have thought about this earlier, I know.
“I blame myself, I know I’m guilty.”
He had injected around three litres into each arm.
The disastrous cheap petroleum jelly implants led to “high fever, strong pain, and weakness”.
Mamaeva said she “had to help” Tereshin remove his “horrible, horrible” mutilations.
He will go under the knife again later this year to remove the rest of the hardened jelly.
