American country pop singer and actress Taylor Swift has been ranked as Woman of the Year by Billboard magazine.
2011’s 7th-most powerful celebrity Taylor Swift is now Billboard magazine’s Woman of the Year 2011 as well. She is the youngest ever recipient of this title. Hollywood stars such as Reba McEntire, Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie, and Beyonce Knowles had been previous names to win the title.
According to Billboard’s Editorial Director Bill Werde: “Taylor has shown the power of good songwriting with music that has transcended genres, and we’re thrilled to acknowledge all of her successes over the past year by presenting her with the Billboard Woman of the Year Award.”
