Salma Hayek has a film to promote, and she certainly looked like she meant business on Wednesday. The 46-year-old dressed in a power suit with a seriously sexy twist as she prepared to appear on The David Letterman Show in New York City. The Latina star flaunted her famous curves in a figure-hugging leather dress paired with an equally fitted black satin jacket. The sultry star accessorized with some racy fishnet stockings, satin stilettos, a large leather handbag and a chunky Yves Saint Laurent necklace featuring a large gold padlock.
Salma Hayek wore her hair up in a coiffed updo and had an immaculately made-up complexion. As she strutted into the studio for her TV appearance, the friendly star stopped to sign autographs for fans. In her latest flick, Here Comes The Boom, Salma appears alongside stars including Kevin James and Adam Sandler. The film, also starring Henry Winkler and mixed martial arts fighter Bas Rutten, tells the story of a high school biology teacher who looks to become a successful fighter in an effort to raise money to prevent extra-curricular activities from being axed at his cash-strapped school.
While Adam is not in this flick, he has appeared in countless motion pictures with Kevin and stars in the 2010 and 2013 movies Grown Ups and Grown Ups 2 with both screen stars. In a recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Salma Hayek attributes her success to luck and appears to be one of the few stars to acknowledge how difficult it is to carry on working in Hollywood once you get to a certain age. She said: ‘The worst thing you can be in Hollywood is a woman and over 40. ‘On top of that, I have an accent, am dyslexic, short and chubby. You name it I have it, but I am here. I must be the luckiest girl in the world to be working.’ – Dailymail
