Britney Spears’ Heartbreaking Announcement—We Didn’t See This Coming AT ALL!

The ‘Framing Britney Spears’ documentary has captured the media’s attention over the last several weeks with conspiracy theories flying, and fans and celebs alike speaking out to support Britney Spears.

Yet, the 39-year-old recently revealed that she was less than thrilled when she heard about the documentary and never actually wanted the attention it brought.

The singer and mother of two took to Instagram recently to speak out on the documentary, which chronicled the span of her career from superstardom to the very public mental breakdown she suffered in 2007.

After sharing a video of her dancing to social media, Spears wrote, “My life has always been very speculated …watched … and judged really my whole life !!! For my sanity I need to dance,” she started.

The singer continued, explaining that she had been in the spotlight for years and often felt embarrassed by the media, with the new documentary being no exception. “I didn’t watch the documentary but from what I did see of it I was embarrassed by the light they put me in … I cried for two weeks and well …. I still cry sometimes,” she said.

Fans and friends took to the comments to offer an outpouring of support, with Paris Hilton writing, “Love you sweet beautiful angel,” and another commenting, “I watched the documentary and not for one second did I judge you. It’s the media/paparazzi that should be ashamed of themselves.”

Spears has been active on social media since the documentary, sharing a slew of videos of her dancing which seem to be a form of catharsis for her. Fans have called for Britney to speak out and share her own story, but only time will tell if she feels comfortable enough to offer her life up to the public again.
