Lady Gaga has reportedly signed a multi-million dollar deal with Giorgio Armani to be kitted out in the fashion house’s gear for the next leg of her tour.
According to the deal, the designer label will design costumes especially for her in December.
Roberta Armani, head of VIP relations at the label, told the Wall Street Journal, ‘A huge company like Giorgio Armani has the duty to always be alert to trends and what appeals to young people.
“Gaga is the first celebrity to have had an Armani gown specially designed for her, which she wore at this year’s Grammy Awards ceremony. Others usually pick from the existing collection” she said adding, “It wouldn’t be possible to give Gaga a look from the collection because she wears pieces of art. It’s theatrical.”
