Jane Lynch, Glee star and Lara Embry, psychologist got married on May 31, 2010. They had announced their engagement in November. They met at an event for the National Center of Lesbian Rights in May 2009.
The ceremony took place in Sunderland, Mass at the Blue Heron Restaurant. The ceremony took place at the outdoor patio of the restaurant that overlooks the Sugarloaf Mountain. It was an intimate wedding with only 21 guests. Both the ladies wore suits.
Marriage took place in Massachusetts since same sex marriages are legal in the state but not in California where the couple lives.
