Brad Pitt received a rare watch worth £2 million from his wife Angelina Jolie as a wedding present. The actress splashed out on the 1952 Patek Philippe platinum chronometer and had it inscribed with the words “To Roly from Nessa”, in reference to the characters the two play in By The Sea. George Farrugia spoke to the Daily Mirror about the present, which he inscribed.
“I did inscribe the watch, it was for Brad and it was a rare one. “Oh yes, it was very valuable. I wasn’t nervous about the inscription because I knew I could do the work perfectly.” Brad has recently admitted he’ll be “slowing down” his career so that he and his family can spend more time together. “I’ve been slowing down for a while now. And slowly transitioning to other things. “And, truthfully, I do want to spend more time with my kids before they’re grown up and gone.”
