Liam Hemsworth is ready for a “clean break” from Miley Cyrus. The ‘Hunger Games’ hunk is reportedly close to calling off his engagement to the 20-year-old pop star following her antics on stage at the MTV Video Music Awards last month.
Miley joined ‘Blurred Lines’ hitmaker Robin Thicke on stage for a rendition of the song and shocked viewers by gyrating in a flesh-coloured latex two-piece, touching herself provocatively with a foam finger and grinding on her collaborator.
A source now tells UsMagazine that Liam is “just weeks away from calling it off permanently.” The insider added: “He is over her and wants to make a clean break. No more back and forth.” Liam, 23, reportedly found Miley Cyrus’ crude foam finger gesture “mortifying” and is ready to move on.
The young couple – who announced their engagement last year – were last seen publicly together at a red carpet event in early August, but they “acted as if they were strangers”. Liam is still living with Miley at her Los Angeles, California, mansion, however, their romance appears to have dissipated.
The source claimed: “They’re not even sleeping in the same room.”
