Two school employees in Georgia are facing serious charges of having s*xual contact with students during the 2021-2022 school year. Railey Greeson and Brooklyn Shuler were indicted in Gordon County, Ga., on Thursday, June 28, on charges of s*xual contact by an employee or agent in the first degree. The indictments were reported by 11 Alive, WSB TV, and FOX 5 Atlanta.

Greeson is accused of having s*x with two male students, while Shuler is accused of having s*x with one male student between October 2021 and January 2022, according to the indictment. Greeson faces two counts of the offense, and Shuler faces one count.

The indictment did not specify the school district involved, but WSB TV identified it as the City of Calhoun School District. The ages of the students have not been disclosed, but the indictment stated that the women “reasonably should have known” that the alleged victims were enrolled as students. This information was reported by 11 Alive, FOX 5 Atlanta, and WSB TV.

It remains unclear if Greeson or Shuler have entered pleas or retained attorneys to speak on their behalf.

The charges against Greeson and Shuler highlight a disturbing breach of trust within the educational system, bringing to light the critical importance of safeguarding students and maintaining professional boundaries. The ongoing investigation and legal proceedings will determine the full extent of the alleged misconduct and ensure that justice is served for the victims involved.
