CDC: this condition means you’re at risk of severe COVID-19 infection

A new CDC study has shown that if you have this one condition, you are unfortunately at risk of a severe COVID-19 infection.

A new study from the CDC has revealed that more than 200 million Americans are at an increased risk of developing a severe COVID-19 infection due to this one condition.

The World Health Obesity Federation (WOF) published a new study on the link between COVID-19 infection severity and obesity in patients. What the researchers found was a “dramatic correlation” between obesity and an increase in death rate for COVID-19 patients.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released a similar study only a few days ago, and the authors behind the study found that “Overweight and obesity were risk factors for invasive mechanical ventilation, and obesity was a risk factor for hospitalization and death, particularly among adults aged [younger than] 65 years”.

The researchers used BMI to find the link between weight and COVID-19 infection severity. According to the Harvard School of Public Health, 71.6% of the US population is considered to be overweight.
