It’s official: Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis will be getting a new cousin in 2019! On Oct. 15, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle formally announced that they are expecting their first child. Kensington Palace revealed the news early in the morning, stating that the new little royal would be making an appearance in the Spring. According to Us Weekly, Meghan is reportedly due on or around May 2, 2019, which just so happens to be Princess Charlotte’s birthday. “Meghan is a couple days just shy of her 15-week mark,” a source told the outlet.

“Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public,” the palace added. The happy news comes on the heels of another big day for the British royal family. On Oct. 12, Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank said “I do” at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor, the place where Meghan and Harry got married in May. Now, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have arrived in Australia, ready to start their very first royal tour as a married couple. Well, needless to say, Spring 2019 couldn’t come soon enough!
