Kim Kardashian is determined to do whatever it takes to put the men who robbed her at gunpoint in prison. The 35-year-old was also bound and gagged in her private apartment in Paris, France on 3 October (16) as the thieves made off with jewellery and cellphones. The reality TV star was left “badly shaken” by the security breach and has retreated to her mansion in Los Angeles, but despite the scary ordeal, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star is reportedly “doing great” and is looking forward to doing what she can to help Paris police officers find the men who robbed her.
“She is very calm and very determined over a matter that was particularly violent,” Kardashian’s Paris barrister, Jean Veil, says. “If she is summoned to France, she will come to France, but judges also have the possibility of moving (the case to the United States).” The five men reportedly face charges of armed robbery by an organised gang, criminal conspiracy and kidnapping, according to Veil. His comments have emerged days after Kanye West’s wife received an apology from bosses at MediaTakeout.com for publishing articles suggesting the U.S. reality star faked the robbery. Kim filed a lawsuit against the website last week (ends14Oct16) after demanding an apology for posts published on the site about her ordeal.
“We can understand how reports questioning if the robbery in fact took place can be hurtful, and so we apologize,” a statement from the outlet’s bosses reads. “No one deserves to go through such a traumatic experience. Kim is not just a celebrity, she is a person, a wife and a mother – who in no way deserved what happened to her.” It’s not clear if the reality TV star is planning to proceed with her lawsuit against the company.
