Christian Slater is an American actor who started his career by playing a small role in The Postman Always Rings Twice(1981) before he would play a lead roleThe Legend of Billie Jean (1985). Slater married to his longtime girlfriend Brittany Lopez at an impromptu civil ceremony at the courthouse in Coral Gables in Florida on Monday (02.12.13).
In 2007 – Slater (44) divorced his first wife Ryan Haddon. They have been into a 3 year relationship and the couple decided to get married first time they visited the Coral Gables District Court near Miami to get their marriage license. Slater and Lopez got engage in Feb, two months after they celebrated at a huge party for family and friends last December. Christianformerly revealed that in July, they set to tie the knot resulting in small ceremony in their back garden and will hire a wedding planner.It is not yet known why Brittany and hedecided to ditch their wedding plans for then but still Christian hinted that he wanted the event to be low key.
He said: “We had a big engagement party on the 31st of December and it was nice, it was like New Year’s and we had all the family come, 200 people, so it kind of already feels like we did the wedding, so we are just going to do a nice backyard situation.”
