“Bride Wars” star Kate Hudson says she sometimes feels “torn down” by Hollywood but is glad she has her mother, fellow actress Goldie Hawn, to go to for advice. The 37-year-old star feels there is a really difficult side to the film industry, reported Female First. Speaking at the 2016 Forbes Women’s Summit at Pier Sixty in New York, she said, “In Hollywood, everyone wants to build you up and tear you down.
“My mother had a driver who came to the house to take her to work and I hated it. He would take my mother away. But what it taught me was how hard she worked to create opportunities for other women. She was a trailblazer in Hollywood.”
