Oaty fruity cookies are a best tea time dessert made with oat and coconut. To make them at home follow the recipe given here.
- 1 cup oats
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup desiccated coconut
- 3/4 cup castor sugar
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts
- 1/4 cup Craisins or apricots
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 4 tablespoons golden syrup
- 1/2 cup canola oil
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
Step 1 Preheat oven to 160°C. Line 2 baking trays with baking paper.
Step 2 Place oats, flour, coconut, sugar, nuts and Craisins in a bowl.
Step 3 Place the remaining ingredients in a small jug. Whisk to combine. Add to dry ingredients. Stir well.
Step 4 Shape mixture into small balls. Flatten with a fork. Bake for 15 minutes until light golden. Cool. Store in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
