Elena Vesnina ImagesElena Sergeevna Vesnina is a professional player of tennis from Russia. She was born on 1st August 1986 in Ukraine, Soviet Union. She is coached by Andrei Chesnokov who is a former ATP tour player.

With the height of 1.76m and 60Kg weight, this right hand player started her career in October 2002, at the age of 16 years and 2 months and she gained the direct entry in the qualifying draw for her first $ 10,000 tournament at Giza, Egypt and after that till the recent days she got $ 1, 956, 899 prize money by her career.

This player of Sochi, Russia has the current ranking of number 52 till the February 2012 while her highest career ranking was number 22 according to the single rating list issued in 12 October 2009.

In mega events of Tennis Championship, she got 6 WTA titles in doubles while she reached to the final of WTA 5 times in singles contest. She got 2 ITF titles as single player while 6 ITF in doubles title. While considering the grand slam singles results, she participated in Australian open tennis tournament in 2006, French open in 2009, Wimbledon in 2009, and in US open tennis tournament in 2009 and in doubles she reached to the semi final of the Australian open tennis Championship in 2012, in Quarter final of the US open tennis tournament in 2009 and 2010 and in finals of French open tennis tournament (2009-2011) and Wimbledon tennis tournament in 2010. In doubles she has a career record of 150-111 and she remained in number 9 in doubles tennis ranking of 6 June 2011.

Elena Vesnina of 25 years is now a successful player of tennis having a great career records in her credit. Like all other Russian tennis players, she is also tough and a competitive player and she play to win the game and her body language during the game shows her commitment and her ambitions for the success. She is mentally strong player and thus she is rising as a tennis star day by day.

As she herself says about her inspiration that “I like when people are tough. A lot of things coming at the same time and it feels like it’s over – when they keep fighting. Learning from their situations. Thinking, Have to be stronger mentally. And then, so many people when they were just starting their careers, they had so many crashes and kind of bad moments. They were still believing in them self. And they got it in the end.”
