Living and Walking the Dream

living and walking the dream

living and walking the dreamThe Ritz Carlton, The Connaught, The Burj ul Arab, The Fairmont, one of the worlds most, luxurious, amazing and yet expensive hotels. If you have got a couple hundred well thousands of bucks to spare and you are intending to take that wonderful vacation and you plan on doing it with style; here is your guide.

The first thing that you would want to cover is the way you travel. Obviously you would decide on doing would be to book a ticket for a first class airline. But you need to make sure you get what you pay for. Not all first classes are created equal. Want to take a shower on board your plane? You want to fly Emirates. Want to chat with a friend or colleague? He or she can sit on the mini-sofa in your first class suite on Cathay Pacific.

Want to slip into Givenchy pajamas before turning in on your full-size flat bed with a regular-sized pillow? Try Singapore airlines. Such perks, of course, cost what most of us would consider astounding amounts of money, but it sure sounds good, doesn’t it? However if you really want to take it to the epitome of luxury, you could consider chartering a private plane depending on the number of people that are accompanying you.

Then you would want to get your accommodation issue solved. That depends if you have an inclination to lavish and deluxe edifice hotels or more picturesque hotels. Whatever it is and also depending on your location the best ones are just a click away on google , waiting to cater to your needs. Having arrived at your destination, it’s time to get busy. Now after that tiring first class journey (pun intended) you would definitely want to make a trip to the spa.

Next in line should be a fine dinner with your loved one, probably a candlelight dinner. Order the finest wine and make sure to inquire about the Chef’s specialty; they never let you down at places such as the Ritz. Your ultimate experience can just not be completed without some shopping. Don’t forget to pay Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Christian Dior and the crème of the fashion world a visit.

The possibilities are endless and the list goes on and one but if you ask me.
My idea of “luxury” would be; Give me a comfortable seat (I’m all for avoiding deep vein thrombosis on those eight-hour flights whenever possible), adequate bin space for my carryon, a speedy and painless few minutes at security and boarding, and the serenity of knowing that I — and my luggage — will take off and land together on schedule.

Doesn’t seem like too much to ask, does it?
