Jennifer Aniston thinks rumours she has a rivalry with Angelina Jolie are “coming to an end”. Both Hollywood A-listers attended the 20th Annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards on Friday and speculation is rife the actresses purposely avoided interacting with one another.[contentblock id=1 img=adsense.png]
But Jennifer dismisses this hearsay as complete nonsense sensationalised by the media. “I think that’s slowly coming to an end. I really do,” she told ET Online of the rivalry gossip. The 45-year-old Friends actress was married to Jolie’s’s current husband Brad Pitt from 2000 to 2005, with gossip rampant the women have loathed each other for years. Jolie released her directorial effort Unbroken, a World War II biographical drama, last month and Jennifer has nothing but praise for the film.
“I mean, that movie is so beautiful and wonderful and she did such a gorgeous job,” Aniston gushed. Aniston is now engaged to marry Justin Theroux. She wishes people would cease gossiping about the possibility of her despising Jolie and enter a new conversation instead. “I think that it’s time people stop with that petty B.S. and just start celebrating great work and stop with the petty kind of silliness,” Aniston said. “It’s just tiresome and old. It’s like an old leather shoe. Let’s buy a new pair of shiny shoes.”
