Many celebrities shares selfies of their own on social media and are very accommodating to fans who request a picture. Plenty of others refuse, and some even get really rude about it, either because they want their privacy or they just think selfies are stupid.

The actor values his privacy, and he also seems to be one of the celebrities who refuse selfies with fans. Page Six reported that Leo even refused a fan a selfie even though it was her birthday. When approached by the woman in his booth at a New York nightclub, he replied “Sorry, not tonight,” but did wish her a happy birthday.

Even though Kanye accepts selfie requests, he always looks like he really doesn’t want to. The rapper doesn’t just refuse to smile, he either looks bored or pissed off in many fan selfies. However, he might be smiling on the inside because of how “cool” he looks. “When you see paintings in an old castle, people are not smiling ‘cause it just wouldn’t look as cool,” Kanye explained.

The actress has a really poor reputation when it comes to interacting with her fans and signing autographs, and apparently she hates selfies too. At the “Sex Tape” premiere in New York City, Diaz refused to engage with any of her fans on the red carpet, and declined to be part of any selfie. “If I did it for you I’d have have to do it for everyone,” she said before leaving, according to Radar Online.

The British actress also outed herself as one of the celebrities who refuse selfies with fans at the 2014 Jameson Empire Awards. “I wouldn’t dream of taking a selfie with anyone. God almighty! That’s to take narcissism to its unspeakable extremes. No, get a life, everyone. Just saying,” Thompson explained on the red carpet.

Even though she’s not opposed to interacting with her fans, Kirstie Alley won’t be accepting any selfie requests either. Approached by a fan on the streets of New York, the actress politely refused, according to Radar Online. “I hate selfies, I’m so sorry! You can take a photo of me, but I don’t want… I hate selfies,” she told her disappointed fan.
