Different Spa TreatmentsI met a friend of mine who told me that she went to this spa to have a relaxed day and when the invoice came; she almost had a panic attack to see such huge amount. In this time of inflation and recession era, everyone has to spend each penny very carefully. I suggested her that she could do the therapy at home and make it all spas like effect without spending much.

Anybody who has a bathtub also known as Jacuzzi at home can easily have a spa session which rejuvenate the skin by giving it a nourishing glow and shine. There are certain things that you must follow in order to have a good spa like effect at home by spending almost nothing.

  • First of all open your refrigerator and find out what fruits and vegetables you have. Fruits and vegetables have a very calming effect on your skin when you put them in the beauty products.
  • You can invite your friends over and you both can help each other with the massage and facial process and also to have a memorable time together.
  • You can have scented sandalwood candles to make the environment even more relaxed and peaceful.
  • Keep pair of clean soft cotton hand towels with a cotton bath robe.

Once you are done with these, I’ll tell you some of the home made spa recipes and remedies by inducing the products that you can easily find in the cabinets of your kitchen and refrigerator.

Almond oatmeal scrub:

Almond Oatmeal Scrub

Almond and oatmeal both are really good exfoliator and when they combined with milky-yoghurt it makes a very creamy and subtle texture.

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup coarse ground almonds
  • 1/3 cup dry fine oatmeal
  • plain full-fat yogurt as needed

Instructions

Add almonds and oatmeal to food processor or blender and grind they reach the consistency of course meal. Keep covered and cool in an airtight container until ready for use. Upon each use, take medium-sized handful (around 1/4 cup) of the mixture and combine with enough yogurts to form a thick paste. Rub gently over skin with a washcloth and rinse with cool water. Follow with gentle moisturizer.

You can do one more thing with the mixture of almond and oatmeal. Fill them in a sock and put them in the tub of warm water. The water gets creamier and all you have to do is just lie in a relaxed position, keeping your head rested for 30 minutes. It’ll pacify your skin by giving enough moisture.

Cucumber wrap:

Cucumber Wrap

Cucumber wrap is really effective for the sun damaged skin. It has a cooling effect on the skin and with the help of which you can get back your long lost fairness and complexion.

Ingredients:

Cucumber with skin and seeds dashed in a blender, 2 drops lavender oil, 2 drops tea tree oil, 2 drops chamomile oil, cotton sheet, any moisturizer (Optional).

Instructions:

Cover your body with the cucumber mixed with the essential oils. Wrap your body in the cotton sheet and relax for 30 minutes. The cucumber feels cool and you will sense the heat being drawn out of your body. Take a shower and wipe off the water. The cucumber leaves your skin so soft that moisturizing afterwards is optional.

Above are the two remedies with the help of which you can relax and have a spa like feeling. These all are organic products that have no side-effects which can harm your skin unlike other synthetic products available in the market.
